1.Introduction

 

Welcome to Green Escape! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including the organization and planning of picnics. By booking a picnic with us, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All picnic bookings are subject to availability and must be made at least 7 days in advance.

  • A deposit of 100% of the booking price is required to secure your reservation.

  • Payment can be made via Credit or Debit card, using the accepted payment methods.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 3 days or more before the event will be refunded 100% of the total cost.

  • Cancellations made within 2 days of the event will not be refunded.

  • We reserve the right to cancel the event in the case of unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather or other emergencies, with a full refund provided.

4. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change. If you need to reschedule your picnic, we’re happy to accommodate, subject to the following terms:

  • Rescheduling Requests: All rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing at least 3 days before the original event date.

  • Rescheduling Fee: If rescheduling is requested less than 3 days before the event, a rescheduling fee of 20% applies.

  • Availability: Rescheduling is subject to availability. While we will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date, we cannot guarantee availability, particularly during peak seasons. If we cannot accommodate your requested rescheduled date, we will offer an alternative date, or if no suitable options are available, we will refund the amount paid, minus any applicable fees.

  • New Date Confirmation: Once your rescheduling request is confirmed, we will provide written confirmation of the new date and details. Any adjustments to the package, location, or services must be discussed and agreed upon at the time of rescheduling.

  • Weather-related Rescheduling: If the event cannot proceed due to severe weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer the option to reschedule at no extra charge. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund (minus applicable fees) will be issued.

5. Event Details and Customization

  • Clients are responsible for providing all necessary details (e.g., location, time, preferences) at least 2 days before the picnic.

  • Any changes to the picnic setup, menu, or other customizations must be communicated and confirmed at least 2 days before the event.

6. Liability and Safety

  • Clients are responsible for the safety of their guests during the picnic. Green Escape is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damage to property that occur during the event.

  • The client must ensure that the chosen location is safe and accessible.

  • Green Escape is not responsible for adverse weather conditions, and no refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations unless specified otherwise.

7. Health and Safety Guidelines

  • All food provided by Green Escape is procured from local providers following strict health and safety standards.

  • Clients should inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions.

  • We are not responsible for any health issues or allergic reactions caused by food items provided at the picnic.

8. Equipment and Property

  • Green Escape provides all necessary equipment, including picnic blankets, furniture, and accessories, based on the selected package.

  • Any items provided by Green Escape must be returned at the end of the event.

  • All picnic materials, furnishings, and decorative elements provided by Green Escape during your event are lent for temporary use only. These items remain the property of Green Escape at all times. Any intentional damage, theft, or failure to return items may result in legal action and incur additional replacement or penalty fees.

9. Photography and Media

  • Green Escape may take photos or videos during the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance.

  • Clients may take photos during the event, but we ask that you respect other guests' privacy.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal data. Any personal information provided will be used solely for the purpose of organizing your picnic.

  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

11. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the Swiss law.

  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Switzerland.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Green Escape reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated terms will apply to all future bookings.

13. Intellectual Property

  • All content, branding, designs, logos, text, and images used or displayed by Green Escape are the exclusive property of Green Escape and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any of our intellectual property without prior written consent.

  • Unauthorized use of our brand elements, photos, or content for commercial or promotional purposes is strictly prohibited without express permission.
